Im looking to sell or trade my 1998 corvette with a rebuilt 2002 ls6 in it. The engine has less then 2000k miles it. I bought the car off of someone that worked at synergy motorsports, all the work was done by him. The car was tuned and put down 385 rwhp. I have pink slip in hand and most if not all the paperwork on the car including a dyno sheet. it has a clean title. The car is pewter, and is a 6 speed.

Vin Number: 1G1YY2267W5120982

Car is running hott, coolant is disappearing, its not the heads, and its not the gasket. So im almost 99% sure its the block. The car runs but i am not driving it anymore so its sitting in the garage. I can start the car and drive someone around the block for anyone thats interested. Just needs a new block.

I may be interested in a trade for a ws6, a srt4 or maybe even a camero SS. The car has to have low miles and a clean title.

Looking to get around 13,000 or best offer, or a trade. ( i dont expect to get 13g, its just a starting point)

BADS:
Minor problems that I've found with the car so far (most of which the previously owner hadnt told me of)

- rear left e brake linkage is broken, right side is barely on (still works). E brake still holds the car but to be safe i always put in first anyways when on hills.
- the 02 sensors further from the header have had there wires cut, however the front ones nearer to headers are still there.
- One of the pullys at cold start will start squeaking very loudly however it goes away once the car is heated up. (was told it was the ac pullys)
-car horn doesnt work (atleast i think it doesnt)
-The car wont pass smog
- Theres also 5 heli coils in the block from stripped threads that needed to be replaced.

Theres two things you could do if you were interested in trading for the car, or buying it.

1. get a ls6 or a ls1 bare block (which there is one on the corvette forums right now for 700 bucks brand new from the factory) or you could pay 200 bucks for a ls1 bare block. then switch all the internals over.

or

2.drop 2 to 3gs on a complete block and swap engines. (might be able to fine
cheaper)
