Where you located. Most shops charge $100-$150 However, you may be able to find someone from the board to help you. I normally charge $50-$75 depending on the difficulty of the install.

$297 is really cheap here. Usually they charge $100 and axle here. Which is just B.S. A friend of mine that owns a tuning shop did mine for $100. Its good to know people.

I'm trying to find a place to lower my springs as well. I'm from the bay area... the local toyota dealer is generous enough to charge 397 just for installation. Isn't that wonderful? That makes me jump for joy especially since some of that money could go towards a cai. I inquired at a reputable shop, and they said around 200 for the install and then 59 for the alignment... so it looks like lowering my car will cost around 5 to 6 hundred dollars (including buying the springs for 200). Anyone from the bay area here want to recommend a place that will do it for cheaper? Thanks.

Yes, I got my springs as well, but don't know where to install them yet. I'm looking towards spending around 100-150 bucks on the install. Know anywhere in the Bay Area to have it done for this much?

Find a knowledgeable local member and ask them to do it for a modest fee (or free like I did...right Eric). ;)

:stupid: only an someone that could manage to drop two exhausts on his head would get scars and bruises from installing springs

I thought I only dropped 1 exhaust on my head? when was the other one? I hit my head with part of Will's suspension.

ah well, cant make me look THAT dumb, at least I didnt electrocute myself twice doing the exact same thing on the exact same day. (to protect his anonyminity we're going to call him L.D.) I believe this was also the same person who proceded to shock the hell out of himself when he bought neons.

then again, I did forget to latch my hood..................

There was a certain Lennox Lewis (TRD Spring) vs Mike Tyson (Eric) vibe during the install. Unfortunately, "The Cut Man" Ferdi Pacheco was unavailable.
