Ok I went through the body kits sticky on Fiberglass vs. Polyurethane and I'm going through my options for a Kaminari body kit. I kind of want PUR for the oem quality and durability, but FRP would be cheaper and more convenient. Here are my options:

Option A: Buy a full fiberglass Kam kit locally. Sideskirts on sale for $120, front and rear $195 each and additional $50 off. Basically comes to 460 + tax.

Option B: Buy a full polyurethane Kam kit online and pay the expensive shipping. Whether I go with Jintei, Kaminari, Duraflex they all seem to come to about $800-$900 including shipping.

Duraflex's Kam kit is $125 bucks off right now which has me considering them. Jintei is a trusted sponsor and would like to help out his business. And Kaminari is a bit overpriced but it'd be all authentic.

I have the money to afford both options but I'm also a guy who doesn't want to turn down a deal when he see's one hence option A. What option would you guy's recommend? The FRP kit might break easily which I would like to avoid but the PUR kit would probably cost more to paint...cant really decide which to go with.
Cheers.

Absolutely the place is called Rocketz, it's based somewhere in Richmond. Send them an email and see if they can help you out. I told them I might be ordering a full Kam kit hence the $50 off, it might apply to any full kit purchase but I'm not sure. As for the side skirts thats part of their holiday sale so it should apply for all side skirts.

If you're also wanting a Kam kit the guy said they only have the sides in stock right now and their next shipment of Kam kits will be in around the first week of January. But if you're looking for something else they have a pretty good selection of other stuff as well.

You're right, I was aware that Jintei's kits are fiberglass not urethane I just listed him in option B since he's an online distributor I'm considering.

I used to be strictly urethane and going for the oem quality fitment and had the stiputlation that fiberglass just needed too much work to make'em fit properly however now that I have a full urethane kit, it has great fitment don't get me wrong but now I'm feeling fiberglass isn't too bad either. Having now seen how others work with fiberglass and how easy it is to smooth/sand/or fill parts to make them fit correctly and not to mention an easy fix if anything happens I'm more inclined to try out fiberglass in the future, just not as a front bumper lol still wary bout that.

hmmm my buddy was actually saying the same thing not too long ago, he has a 180SX and has dealt with them in the past. He said that their fitment can get kinda sketchy...

i bought my Kam front from them and it fit almost like a glove, I also got the rear from them which fit perfect as well but ended up getting a good deal on the auth one. honestly, the rep one fitted better then my auth one @@.

I know blk was interested in it before, but I still got it in my garage if you guys are interested. And like what the other guy said, fixing FB is a lot cheaper i messed up my front pretty bad and it was fixed and painted in a day and you cant even notice it was damaged before.

Looks like theres gonna be a couple more kammies in van lol
