TYC Tails Fixed yet?

Anyone know if they have done a second run of the TYC tails yet?
I soo want to get a set but have been waiting because everyone is complaining about how the left side fits.. After seeing some pics of them I know I would not be happy about it, so im kinda glad I havent bought them yet.
But does anyone have any info on if this problem is going to be corrected or has been already?

You can fix them with a file huh? I thought this idea was shot down since it would break the sealing. I guess you found a way around it. :thumbup:

no, the area where the seal is was too deep, so i took a file and made it so that it doesn't rock up and down, and still seals... you just gotta play w/it a bit.

Could someone post pictures of exactly where to file? - it would be a huge help to know exactly :)

well.. here's what you do
put the taillight on w/out bolting it in.
find where it's rocking
file that a little bit.... i probably filed less than 1mm from the back
put it back on, see how it fits
keep trying till it fits better

My gap wasn't bad at all. Just got mine the beginning of this week.

my gap went from apc bad to very tolerable... it's like maybe stick 2mm away from where it's supposed to be

no clue, ..i jsut went to the GENERA site..and i found it..no gunmetal or black yet. I'm waiting to see the gunmetal ones...badly...and the black ones...it would go really well with your H6 kit in black and your SM1 kit and your D1 kit in cf, and your BLK2 in white, and some black or cf celica fill ins and a white celica like mine. *droool* i can totaly picture the car in my head....
