I just want to get some adjustable shocks, lower it a bit more.

Well, the agx's are great shocks, since it gives you the ability to stiffen or soften the dampening, but it won't lower your car as much as you think. They are a great performance shock that can handle quite a bit a higher spring rate as oppose to stock shocks.
But if you really want to go lower, i'd suggest buying a different set of springs or set of ground control coilovers and then match them up with these shocks. But eitherway the ride is going to be a lot smoother and stiffer compared to stock shocks, once you get these installed.

Sorry for the old thread bump but this thread is of relevance to me.
I have a TRD edition celica and it has TRD springs installed with stock struts but recently my driver side strut has gone so Im in need of replacing the front two. So Im wondering if the kyb AGX struts is good for daily driving without being stiff combined with TRD springs.
Little man above this post said the ride would be smoother but stiffer? Im dumb but to me it seems contradictory because Im unsure of what it means. Does stiffer mean Ill feel more rocks on the road and smoother mean something else? Sorry strut idiot here.
Thanks for any info!
