Wrecked 2000 GT-S for Sale

Selling my wrecked 2000 celica GT-S. Car slid off the road into a telephone pole yesterday. had liability coverage only and body shop said it would be more than $8000 if they could even repair it. Car would be good for parts only.

The car will be in Columbus, Ohio on Thursday. It is driveable in it's current condition, but I would suggest getting a trailer for an extended distance.

Info on the Car:

2000 Spectra Blue Mica GT-S 6-speed manual approx 170,000 on the chassis and motor.
The transmission is about 2 years old and has less than 20,000 miles on it clutch done with tranny Southbend TZ with Fidanza Flywheel.
Currently has TRD exhaust but I'll be taking that to put on my other celica. I will replace with stock system.
I'd also like to take the leather seats to put into my GT. Will replace with GT seats(very worn).
There are a few other body panels I'm considering taking but these are negotiable.
Car will come with 15 inch konig wheels with yokohama all seasons (Can't remember brand will post when I pick the car up again) tires have 9/10 tread in front and 8/10 in back.


Car will only be available for a week or two before I need to strip it and sell it for scrap so if you are at all interested get ahold of me immediately.

As far as the price on the whole car goes the engine and transmission are still fine. I've seen higher mileage 2zz engines going for well over $1500 and low mileage transmissions on car-parts go for somewhere between $800 and $1200. Considering those two alone i'd like to get $2500 out of it but seeing as how I'm taking the seats which are usually one of the higher priced items I'd willing to work with people.

$500 is a little low. I'd consider it if it was a pickup. I'm also doubtful as to whether I'll be able to pull the transmission myself, which is why i'd like to jsut sell the whole thing.

Just to let everyone know I discovered the engine is leaking oil. The car was not leaking any oil before the crash so it must have been due to the impact. motor oil was leaking from the transmission case so I think it a rear main seal but I can't be sure. Also I've taken the following parts for my other celica:

Front and rear speakers
Stock Amplifier
Alarm System
Leather seats.
TRD exhaust.

I'm also considering pulling the heater unit as the one in the GT is making an extremely annoying sound.
