4runner, CELICA, and accord

so i was on my way to school for some papers to fill out and finish up...wasn't in a hurry much, but I WAS coming from corona to anaheim..i come a cross a 3-lane road..and i'm pretty sure the sign used to read "45" (i've been driving that same road everyday)..so no need to look at the sign..it was the 4runner,me, and the accord..going 55, little did we know that the speed limit changed to 35 -_- and without knowing that there were 2 cops posted up with lasers on the side..of course someone had to be given a ticket..and sucks that it ended up on me..but the ugly side was that I WAS THE ONLY ONE GIVEN ONE SINCE MY CAR WAS BRIGHT YELLOW -_-


..and that's where i decided to change my car color to something less attractive to A**H***S cops=:bang:

That blows but it's all territory of having a yellow sporty car. Cops will want to target you, especially if you're younger.

Would have sucked even more if they were doing 55 and you were doing 45. Accord and 4Runner, not exactly cop magnets. In a pack of traffic, unassuming cars can usually get away with 5-10 mph higher speeds.

lol i was doing 65 in a 55 and an suv passed my, cop pulled me over because it looked like i was going faster =\

yeah true..but why only one? there were two of them posted up but only one went after me -_- BORED COP ON A CHRISTMAS DAY..that's one of my greatest presents ever! :(

social life is not as much as it was before..so i'm probably just gonna pay the fine and do online traffic school -__-

I noticed you have a 00-02 front bumper, is that new or was the celica painted? (Yellow was only offered stock on 03-05 models)

And don't change the paint b/c of an assbag cop, i have yellow too and haven't been pulled over in mine and i've had it for 3 yrs and my friend with a corolla gets pulled over all the time :confused:

o god. This reminds me. I was going about a hour of my way to get brother a christmas present, and on the way there, it goes from a 55 to a 35 (little city). But anyway, i noticed i was passin people on the right hand lane, so im like wtf? But i kept my speed and continued on. 3 days later i went down there when mom was driving, and pointed out these camera they put in...to catch speeders...and im like omg. shes like "oh youll be fine if you were going 5 or 10 over..." and im like crap. So i went home on the internet, and found out they give a "grace" period..for people to get used to the cameras, and wouldnt get a ticket within this period. I was like thank goodness.

yeah it was painted already..haha always had the feel for a yellow car :)
but yeah..idk..maybe i will stick with it for a while..if not? then it's whatever i guess..im still a noobs :(
