View Full Version : ATTN: Kaminari Rear Wing owners

The rectangular indent on the sides where the Kaminari sticker is supposed to go to cover up the part of the centerpiece do I need access to it? I was thinking of getting the bodyshop to fill the rectangular indent so the sides would be even. Please let me know if this would work.

Actually there are 2 types of covers. I have the old one which basically is a hole on both sides to access the screws. The Kaminari sticker goes over it. I put a CF Overlay over my sticker. The drawback is you can't access the screws unless you remove the sticker. Kaminari updated this dilema by putting a cover with two screws mounted on both sides so you can access the inner screws easier. To answer your question, I don't see why not.

Do I need access to the screws to adjust the blades? I'm getting the one without the carbon fiber so a carbon fiber sticker wouldn't work, but it looks good if u have the carbon fiber one. I just ordered the whole kit and wing today so maybe I'll get the newer version.

The screws to adust the blade is located underneath the centerpiece itself. You'll probably get the newer version, which still has the indentation for the stickers. I can send you some color matched vinyl for those end pieces if you'd like. What color is your car?

hey bat...do you have two types of cf? vinyl and sticker? or are they both the same thign?

I shaved the two endcaps. the center piece is attached to the two ends by industrial strength 3M tapes. I also have a silver celica.
