Wtb:celica-subie 4 Trade!?!

k, here's the story... i bought a 2000 GT in september with over 200,000 miles. ran perfect. definitely couldnt tell it had that high mileage... & the interior & exterior was PERFECT... so around thanksgiving time, the engine started makin some pretty weird noises & no one could figure out what it was.... i panicked... ((i have no money to replace an engine)) so i took the car to my grandfather, who deals rebuilt subaru's... traded him for a 1999 subaru impreza RS 2.5.... So now... i miss my celica... & im just testing the waters to see if anyone is interested in a trade... the impreza is blue, 5 speed. just over 127 k miles, black interior...2 door, wrx spoiler, i have yet to find any scratches on it... it has the R title of course, as i already mentioned. ill get pics up ASAP... i can be reached on here... or at Rachel-rh@hotmail.com. im looking forward to hearing from you!!!! thanks for looking!

^ imo, keep the suby. but i commend you for being loyal to the celica. i would look for a celica with lower miles if you plan on keeping her for some time.

well then how much do you think the car will go for then? i just put 7 k into the motor, it has literally no km. the car is immaculate all you have to do is a paint job.
and dont fvckin say im on crack, you dont know ****. take a look on kijiji and youll see that i posted it for 8000 or best offer. i was hoping i could find some dumb ass who would buy it for that much. you start high and it always works its way down, i never expected to get that much. thats why it says make me an offer on the description.

First off chill out, secondly you will NOT get over blue book. I would venture off and say less because of it's condition. By the way it takes at least 4K for a nice paint job.

I've seen GTS's go for 6k in your condition. Just because you have "7K" in the engine doesn't add value. I honestly would never buy a modded car, especially one as modded as yours. Don't get me started on the riced out issues that are there.

Based on your writing skills are recent threads your celica has been molested. Why do you think you couldnt sell it at $8,500 OBO, because it's seemingly overvalued by you.

ive got a white 00 gts 6 speed. 101.5k on the body, 35k on the engine/tranny (replaced by toyota dealer, have receipts)

has stock radio w/ infinity components up front and infinity 2 ways in the rear

Emanage ultimate installed
CAMCON installed (both "untuned", just rev limit increased to 8700)
Eibach sways (front and rear)
ES motor mount bushings (front installed, rear needs to be done)
TRD Springs/Struts
TRD action package
interior is almost perfect for a 10yo car.

needs fenders repainted/fixed (more info if interested)

well the subi is gone anyway, as of yesterday. but thanks for the info. im sure that was directed at the fact that mine had an r title, which is fine. opinions are free and welcome... but really, tryna screw up someones business over somethin like that? whatever. theres always a story to every car & the r title was NOT necessary in this case, but people do STUPID things to get a little money these days and that was one of those cases. but thanks and have a nice day :)
