One piece LED assy.The only thing u could do is take it off the car.

arf? i want to know how to. i tried and tried. i pulled out the stupid black rubber part, then i saw a scerw..took that off...no luck at all =(

Try from inside the car,take the panel off and see whats holding it.

yeah... the 2 bolts inside the grommets... i think it's doublestuck as well, cuz i couldn't get it off either

I couldnt get it off either. I just got frustrated and quit after an hour. I took the plastic off and took off two screws, and the final result......NOTHING.

i'm going to bring this back from a year ago instead of making a new post..

according to bill in this thread (http://www.newcelica.org/forums/showthread.php?threadid=19663) federal law requires the 3rd brake lite design to "provide access for convenient replacement of the bulb without the use of special tools."

doesnt sound convinient. are they LEDS, or regular bulb made to look like LED output?
