Been waiting for TRD to release the engine package for ages. I ordered the TRD rear strut bar a week and a half ago from Japan, should arrive in a week or 2. The after that I'm not sure what I should do next for the Celica, either save up for the Tein HA adjustable suspension setup and Tanabe front strut brace, front and rear under brace OR get the TRD LSD, TRD clutch and Toms lighened flywheel. Suspension or driveline mods. I think I'm leaning more towards suspension mods.

What are you guys considering as the next mod for your car?

My next modification will not be for a while. Just put on wheels on my car. 18 x 8 BBS RC wheels with 225/40 tyres. And the car is being lowered next week, so Ill be strappd for cash for a few months.
But hopefully intending to fit a pod filter & heat shield in bout a month. Cheap mod but noticeable.
Where do you order your TRD products from?

For the exhaust I ordered it from James Rodreigez (Sp?) from Sterling Toyota in Housten Texas USA (Considering it was a US spec TRD exhaust).

TRD rear strut brace getting from a NZ, TRD specalist supplier (www.trdsales.com). Ordering it from Japan but delivering it to my door.

Had enough from local speed shops ignoring me when I make an enquiry, for a obsure performance part that no one seems to want to touch.

Your ride should be looking sweet. hehe

My ride looks good, but the lowering is needed ASAP. I was intending to go 1.75inch at the front and 2.25 at the rear, as this would give the car a flat look. I wanted to go an extra .25 of an inch but was advised not too by Allsprings here in Sydney, as the springs do settle bout .25inch and that would be just perfect.

How does your car ride with the King Springs? Its a shame that no shocks are available as yet, as I was hoping to fit the Koni adjustables to my ride. Coilovers are just too expensive for me to justify fitment.

The King springs are good fix for stock height Celicas. I just put em in as a quick fix because I knew I was getting coil-overs about year or two after that. I'm happy wiht the cars stance. No point in replacing perfectly good stock shocks that early beofre they even remotely worn out.

Thing to remeber when lowering, is the amount of clearance of the underside of the car. Nice being low, but if your side skirts get ripped off when going over speed humps etc its not that pratical. You open the chances for the driveline to get damage which woun't be covered under waranty, minimum damage would be atleast $2000.00. Low is good, just down't get carried away is my advice to the guys unfamiliar with modding there car.

I cringe when I see R32's and R33's with second hand Japanese mufflers that are milimetres off the gound.
