Has anyone had this problem in their celica?

I was at the Oscoda Pro Solo and on Sat. afternoon my passenger window wouldn't go up.

My buddies and I checked the connections and fuses and found nothing. A gentlemen parked next to me owns a auto glass business and said he said it is the motor.

I am over the warranty (47,000 miles). I have never had this happen in other cars I owned and I think this is a load of crap, having to pay for this.

Any thoughts or advice are appreciated. Thanks!

Unlock the window next to the steering wheel.

Okay, Um I guess you want me to tell the truth don't you.

Well, after the first day of racing Saturday, I must have accidently hit the lock button when the window was down. Well I took off the side panel last week and drilled out the rivets so I could take out the speaker to get ready to take the motor out. Meanwhile I unplugged the power switch by or near the tweeter.

I completely forgot about the dash switch until today after putting my door panel back on. So I tried the dash switch and the glass still wouldn't move. I thought about it more and thinking maybe I still have it unplugged.

Lo and behold it was unplugged and so I plugged it and tried the dash switch again and shazam! It works!

Sorry Toyota! I am a dumbass!

Well at least I know how the power doors work!
