Yes there are other complications. If you were get into a accident, and the insurance found out about you not having a airbag. The insurance has the right to void all insurance on you and not be reponsible for any damages. Yes! the insurance companies will do this.

i bought mine from Hong Kong for 10 bucks, it came with the actual horn button, u just peal the sticker off and stick it onto ur toyota ones(pry off the old one), u can ask ppl around the board and see who's from HK and he can prolly do a group buy for u guys(just a guess)

HEY EVERYONE!

I WORK AT A CAR ACCESSORIES PLACE AS THEIR GRAPHICS MAN AND I CAN MAKE THOSE THINGS. I MADE ONE FOR A BUDDY OF MINE. TOTALLY CUSTOM. ANY COLOR, ANY LOGO, ANYTHING. HE WANTED HIS INITIALS. BUT YEAH I MAKE THEM ALL THE TIME. I MADE A BMW LOGO FOR THIS GUY WHOSE LOGO WAS STOLEN OFF HIS HOOD. BUT INSTEAD OF THE LETTERS "BMW" I PUT HIS INITIALS IN THE LOGO, AND IT LOOKED F***ING SWEET. IT LOOKED TOTALLY FACTORY BUT WITH HIS NAME OF COURSE. I AM ABOUT TO DO MY CENTER PIECE ON MY STEERING WHEEL WITH SOME CHROME AND STUFF. THEY JUST ARENT TOO CHEAP. LIKE $30 -35 BUT NOT TOO BAD FOR HAVING SOMETHING CUSTOM.

Hey guys.. I wanted to order this thing a long time ago too. I found out that my local Toyota parts dealer can order these for us from Japan. It's a genuine TRD Japan part. It's supposed to be for the Momo steering wheel but some people have fitted it for our stock steering wheel. (Just peel the sticker off and replace the Toyota symbol).

I can ask him how much it will cost and if there's a minimum order needed, etc.. and I'll let everyone know possibly tomorrow (Monday) or Tuesday.

Its not just a sticker. Its some sort of coated plastic button peice, 3 dimensional...has a slight curve to it.

Oh, i see. I was looking at the steering wheel, how would you take out the stock one? Is it possible the air bag could deploy if not done right?

use a thin flathead screw driver. Make sure the key is not in the ignition so the airbag won't deploy. If you want to be absolutely safe then disconnect the battery.
