Even though your system has 8 speakers, the factory deck only has 4 outputs. The left front and the right front make up 6 of the 8 speakers in the car. the other 2 are the rears. So this means that the left tweeter and the left door speaker ( 2 speakers in one) both run on one signal, which is split in the door. And the same for the other side. So what i am saying is any x4 deck will work with all of your speakers. Hope this helps. Good luck.:D

cool man, thanks alot, ill be sure to connect all of them like that then, by the way, isn't there something to change the outputs so that there would be 6 of them instead of 4?

Yes, it's called the stock amp :)

Hooking up a new HU to the stock speakers is not as simple as BlackGTS2002 makes it sound. Thankfully one of our friendly nc.org members (synkros) has a wiring harness to make it easier:

00GTS is right too, but i was assuming that you were going to use an installation harness for the new celicas'. With the harness that he links to...you are just hooking up four channels; basically matching the colors depending on the HU that you buy (read the installation instructions that come with the new HU).

Sorry, I should have been more clear. No more assumptions I guess. Good luck with your system.

No, there are probably other ways to do it but I say avoid the hassle.
