your MAF sensor is mounted the wrong way. Turn it upside down, it should run :)
Gl and Hf :)

edit: the wires should be coming the other way around... it's like now its mounted like that:
.____
|MAF|
|___.|
.]||[

but it should be like that:

..]||[
|MAF|
|___.|

where the ]||[ are being the cables :)

i thought the MAF would only go on one way...that if you flipped it around the screw holes wouldnt line up

ye and they do line up. i got it working but not the way i would like it. i had to flip it around so the the mafs is closer to the filter. here are some pics

http://img691.imageshack.us/img691/8620/0204001747.jpg (http://img691.imageshack.us/i/0204001747.jpg/)
IN THE PICTURE ABOVE SEE HOW THE SENSOR IS CLOSE TO THE FILTER. IT WOULD NOT WORK IF IT WAS ON THE OTHER SIDE NEXT TO THROTTLE BODY

http://img514.imageshack.us/img514/9945/0204001746a.jpg (http://img514.imageshack.us/i/0204001746a.jpg/)
WHAT IS THAT FOR? ITS NOT CONNECTED

http://img684.imageshack.us/img684/5056/0204001746.jpg (http://img684.imageshack.us/i/0204001746.jpg/)
THESE THREE TUBES ARENT CONNECTED HAVING A TOTAL OF FOUR UNCONNECTED LINES. DO I PLUG OR LEAVE OPEN WHAT ARE THEY FOR?

http://img168.imageshack.us/img168/916/0204001744.jpg (http://img168.imageshack.us/i/0204001744.jpg/)
WHAT IT LOOKS LIKE.

the intake dosnt have a spot for the tubes. do i make holes on the intake and stick the tubes in there or what ? car runs fine and no cel on. and i dont know if i lost or gained power. any tips to find out lol? other then dyno.

the little metal thing with the tubes is a vacuum switch which after wondering bout it myself i figured out you dont need on an aftermarket intake...like iroke said just cap where they go and leave that off

so cap off all for tubes? do they lead somewhere important that need air or sumthing? sorry for the noobinity(nooby stuff) lol

and i think its backwards but thats the only way itll work. if the mafs is to close to throttle it dies.

idk wat they lead to but my vacuum switch is sitting here on the desk and my car runs perfectly fine so whatever they go to cant be too important...i think it just opened and closed the little flap inside the stock airbox but idk for sure :shrugs:

i also have that small vacuum thing disconnected, if u shut it close the car starts to feel like it wants to turn off, to me it sounds like it can be important but no one has ever said anything about it here...

i cant say which way it should go with the short ram since ive got the CAI...hopefully someone with the short ram can help

i was thinking of caping them off but with like a thin filter like material so that if they are important it can breathe and not get anything that not suppose to be in there go. good idea or put nylon plugs?

a lot of ppl have the BB mod on their intakes because the intake tubes would be too big for the MAF to read correctly and then theres a CEL

those little hose are not worth anything, has long the car runs fine why worry...the only thing that was plugged after the intake was the one with line and the box..

do a search you'll learn on them,,lots of info about them

those 3 little hoses go to an electrical plug. just unplug them from it and youre set.

what is the other one for? the one with the blue thing. when i turn on the car its sucking in air. and when i plug it the idle goes down very little

man, when i got my intake into the car, (K&N shortram typhoon), i just ripped (literally) the stock airbox, putted the shortram tube, set the filter on place, mounted the MAF and that was it. Those 3 hoses are hanging somewhere around under my bonnet, all tied to the ECU plastic tube i think with some mice tails (i think you over there call them piggy tails... those plastic "wires" that make BZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZT and tie strongly) (OMG what a description ...)...
why does it bother you so much since the car is up and running ?

You probably didn't plug the hose that's coming from the engine block.
