View Full Version : Should ImportXpression sponsor picnic/BBQ

ImportXpression.com has offered to sponsor the 8/17 picnic/BBQ...however the date would have to be changed to 8/3

All would stay the same except for the date. ImportXpression would cover all costs making this an entirely free event, and would advertise to attract more people to come.

So far it seems the general concensus on both NC.org and Clubrsx is to go with the sponsoron 8/3. I will get a definite word on monday from ImportXpression, they really want this to be a huge meet since they will be paying for it, and their purpose is to spread the word for their big event at Nassau Colleseum the following weekend.

The one downside is that the Funkmaster Flex Celebrity Car Show at etown is on 8/3 and some people have planned to go to that instead. http://www.racewaypark.com/main/02events/funk_flex.htm

Spread the word and make sure you vote, so we can make a decision.

oooo, dunno..did you see everybody that's supposed to be in e-town?(drivers going to be w/ their cars, ya think?)

screw it anyway...i'll be at OUR show anyday.... btw, Chris, do they want to take FULL credit for everything? are they giving you your props at all for organizing??!? (well, you AND shibby?)

I'm for it. Be prepared for bigger numbers. Take Meguiar's Quick Detailer and a few cotton wipes. There will be more fingerprints on your car than at the other meets ;)

I'm going to work out all the details on monday. My plans are not to let them take full control. I'm going to still do everything I was going to. I'll still get the permit myself, and buy the food, and cook. Only difference is that they will reimburse me instead of everyone else, and they will help advertise (trememdously) and set up their DJ/booth.
