Horn button emblem thingy

Anyone have one thats the red celica dragon? if so, how much. one that looks as nice as the factory one, not some crap sticker.

get the crap sticker from blkcelica01. there vinyl. there all vinyl and they look great if you install them correctly. sadly i didn't know he made them when i bought my trd one but they turn out great. and are cut to exact size of the button so you cant tell even a little its a vinyl.

and im going to leave this image huge so you can kinda see more detail on how you cant see anything.

:rofl: i didn't mean to offend you buddy. its just that the celica dragon isn't a simple design and has those little stars in and the texture under the color on the emblem. now i know that the depth of the emblem is impossible for the horn button but even the stocker toyota one has a brushed aluminum finish under the clear part. i guess i'm looking for something like that, not just a stick on red dragon. shoot me a pic of what yours would look like though if you have an example laying around, might be good enough :gap:

I have made a few stickers for the horn button before, but I always wondered do you just pop off the clear plastic part and then put the sticker on then how do you re-attach the clear plastic piece?

oooo ouch. and to install just get ALL the dirt off of the horn button. make sure its smooth. and get all the dirt. i just had a bowl of cold water i pealed it and threw it in. got it wet. placed it as needed. had to peel and replace a few times to get it just right. use your finger to get as much of the water out from the back as possible then use a heat gun and heat it up(i used the g/f hair dryer). it'll start to shove all the water out have a microfiber cloth handy and kinda work the rest of the water out. just like laying vinyl

the heat will help it form around the curve well. if done right it comes out great. if your really novice on decals maybe a drop of dish soap or baby shampoo in the bowl to help you slide it in place longer. but it'll take a little longer for it to set too. i have a little bit of dirt. like 3 spots. i should get another one but i don't think i could land the next one as center or as perfect as the one i did there. :gap: and the only person that sees the dirt is me but im anal that way.

yep, almost dead on center too and hopefully level as well. i bent the sucker getting it off the car slightly...if i don't like how it turns out then i'll just order a new button from the dealer and buy another sticker from you.

yellow/black celica dragon? i only thought of the dragon since its kind of an homage to these being the last gen of celica and the dragon was on the first gens of celica...sort of stupid. :o:

no its understandable and respectable to the celica world. i understand completely but its nothing fresh or new. like my trd horn button. custom horn buttons are ubber cheap and easy to do and if done right people drool and ask where and what. but i got nothing EXCITING to bring to this little button. not alot of options but still makes me go hmm.....

but the button did turn out really well. in my mind i was like man thats gonna look dumb. but then you posted the full pic and i was like man.... that look really good and i kinda sorta wanna do it too....

but i need some more creative juice. in my upper head.

I thought it would look stupid too but then I thought about it more and decided 'hell its only $10 if I don't like it'. Its taking a little getting used to seeing something different out of the corner of my eye though...sort of like earlier today I removed the TOYOTA off the back, takes a minute to get used to it but it looks ALOT cleaner. the GTS is coming off next...

I dont think it comes in different colors, & is probably too large to use without modification. The girl selling it said she didnt know what part of the car it came from but might be a horn button. Think it was 3.5". Wanted something like $28 though lol

This reminded me, I need a new horn button. The clear coat under the sticker is coming off and so the sticker is coming off too and somehow it got 'dented' as well. So I need another sticker AND a horn button. I should probably just call the dealer for the button huh?
