View Full Version : Sony Headunits have no Harness ??

I was looking on the sony site and when I punched in 2002 Celica GT-S for car it had a little tab that said there is no wiring harness for the car and you have to splice into factory wires. This is odd.. does someone else make a harness ? Thanks.

ah but you have a gts so you have that whole factory amp problem. maybe thats why they were saying that.

I have a sony headunit put into my car (CDX-MP70) there is no wiring harness for it so i had to take my car to best buy and have them chop up the wires to the factory amp and splice them to the wiring harness provided by sony.

you can get a celica harness that'll connect it to everything but the factory amp. thats the only problem. so don't go cutting all the wires behind your dash.

run your own wires, if you wanna go that route, I just had to splice into only like 3 wires and that was it, of course I bypassed my OEM amp and the factory speaker wiring and ran my own...
