was just wondering, if i should put some 5w30 or 10w30 oil in the engine and also what is the best oil filters for an turbo engine?
Last year i was running i think was 5w30 because i didnt knew if thinker oil might get the feed line to turbo blocked...i was using a TRD filter also which came with the kit

Watching your oil temp and pressure will tell you what oil you need. Oil pressure should rise with RPM and peak near redline. Peaking too early = lower the viscosity, though not below 30. Temps too high = raise the viscosity. Also, with dino oil, the narrower the range of the hot and cold viscosities, the more stable it is (for example 10w30 > 5w30). Synthetic is much more stable (no issue running 0w30 vs 10w30).
As far as filters:

Mobil1, Purolator Pure One, Bosch Premium. Toyota, suprisingly, isn't anywhere near as good as everyone says.

I saw that too. There was so much more filtrate at the bottom of the denso/Toyota filter. The flow of the denso filter is the best though meaning less of a pressure drop..correct? This debate is mind boggling lol I'm just gonna stick with toyota filters and mobil 1 for now untill I get a blackstone oil test done in the upcoming months to see where I'm really at as far as oil contaminants. IMO its the best thing you can have done to save coin in the long run. I'm pushing 116k and I think my car is holding up good based on how hard i push it sometimes.
