Greetings all,
I am in the market for a engine rebuild or a replacement 2zz, have a 2000 celica GT-S.
Not sure if the one I have is rebuildable or not, threw a rod through the oil pan, tech is going to take the header off and all this next weekend and see.
I have a budget of about 2000.00 for parts and all, want to try to get the best fix I can, the car as it is at the moment might need a new clutch plate as well, and could use some tires...
beyond that it's in great shape, other then needed a washing from sitting for the last month.
Would like to hear suggestions for parts, ideas on better solutions to the ones offered in the thread as it builds and such... basically I openning up a "round table" to the experienced persons to offer up ways to proceed or things to check into before I totally commit funds and time to the project.
