hi, i'm a 2001 celica gt owner and i like to ask you guys something about my celica's rear brakes
i'm gonna change my wheels to 17 or 18inch wheels, but the problem is i
have those ugly drum brakes at the back. i saw those AEM big brake kits and my question is are they gonna fit to my gt also or is it
just for gt-s?....
is there any way that i can covert my rear drum brakes to disks
brakes...and if so, where can i order those for cheap?

I think you have to get a conversion kit or something like that and even then it's pure hell. I heard it's pretty pricey for the change, too.

I believe Larry said in the FAQ that the drum brakes and discs can theoretically be interchanged. It is true, nobody has tried it. AEM big brakes would be nice except changing those brakes out would be a living hell. if you try it, good luck, but most people say it isn't worth it.

from what i understand, the change isn't worth it except for the looks. basically, it's a $1000+ looks fast mod. it IS possible though. titan motorsports will probably have it available. i haven't done much in the research department because it's one of the last things on my mind at the moment as for modifications. u'll just have to search diff companies for the best buy.

Please do not put those on your car, Im pretty sure they would look like crap not to mention very fake. Just live with your drums you could paint them. I have 17" rims and the drums dont look that bad imo
