I dont know. It kinda sticks out like a soar thumb. I mean it really sticks out. Sorry man I dont like it. If it was more flush it would be tight.

Maybe it'll look a little more OEM once its painted. I think it looks weird coz its white and it contrasts so much agaibst the stock interior.

I like the idea, though - Its definately got me thinking. If you end up not liking the end result, feel free to send it to me!!! ;)

That's actually not bad. Sucks that it blocks your view of the clock though.

His head unit (like most aftermarket stereos) most likely has a clock already in it, thus eliminating the need for the OEM clock. Word!

His headunit looks like my Panasonic and it does have a clock on it (and its big in certain modes). One thing, having the stock clock operating behind the new video unit will look stupid. You may want to cover it, use the space for something else, or just unplug it. Keeping it operating will make the fact that its obstructed even more obvious...leading to more questions from others in your car why it was blocked in the first place.

Wasnt there a guy from the UK selling one that actually fitted the guage and looked awfully sweet??

I think I talked to him twice and since my parents were going back to London he was going to try to set something up for them to pick up but it never happened.

Anybody know who he is so I can ask him if he still has em.

thanks for the replies guys......i thought the same thing after i installed it. i didn't really like it at first but its starting to grow on me. i will be changing it over the winter tho. that was my 1st time playing with glass so i made it simple

as for the clock. my hu does have a clock on it but it also has screen savers as well. and i have it set so it only shows the screen saver nothing else. i wear a watch and always have my cell phone so the clock is not biggie

i have thought about extending it to the digital clock but i think i am going to wait until the winter and make it more flush and add some more stuff to it. i wanted something small so i could learn how to glass plus i wanted something quick for theshows this year.

keep the replies coming. the more the better

i think the ones where you just have a hole and it sits flush look real nice. like the japan stock ones. you could just mold that whole factory piece, get rid of the clock altogether, (doesn't match the HU color anyway) and have that lcd flush in the dash. that looks real nice. you could even put a center channel speaker up above the LCD like i've seen in one car. that was the best one i've ever seen by far.
