There are a lot of other things to like about the TL. Its larger size offers roomy accommodations in the back seat; its ELS audio system is exceptional; the list of standard equipment is impressive; and the ride quality is among the best. And its handling is hard to fault from a clinical standpoint, as it flat goes where you steer it, albeit in a slightly robotic way. More driver involvement through better-weighted, crisper steering would go a long way toward making the TL the complete package. And about that styling...

I think they should have used the 335Xi instead of the 335i since the audi was an s4 quatro. Should have let the two be awd vs. awd instead of rwd vs. awd.

I would still rank the 335i over the S4.

Audis played out and bland styling coupled with a ****ty reliability record is an instant turn-off

I find most Audis repulsive due to the weight and lack of power in most of their models. But for some reason the S4 gets me. I'm surprised to see that it beat out the BMW.

I would hope the S4 would win this - it costs 50% more than any other car in the test.
