I am getting my Blitz front and sides, in a couple of days and they are fiberglass, and was wondering what it would cost to get them Preped, and painted and possibly molded on if the fit is not good. Please give me estimates, This is for those who have had this done.....

Thanks
Rob

Robodog: call a body shop...it depends on how much work they have to do to it. Some kits are better than others.

i have the blitz kit on my car and my boyfriend and I did all the sanding for it. my boyfriends brother (who works in a bodyshop) did the fitting and other prep work and charged me $400 for that and then took it to his bodyshop to paint it for another $400. the only reason it was so cheap is cuz i know him. im getting the urethane front bumper done right now and it is going to cost over $1500 for just the damn bumper cuz it came in such horrible shape that they have to do alot more work to it. your best bet is to take your car to different shops and get estimates. you're looking at a grand or more to make it look really good though. good luck and i hope this helped...........

yes- please wait until the body kit is painted before driving around with it. Nothing is worse than seeing someone with a primered bodykit on. That is the best definition of a ricer right there :chuckles:

damn- you got lucky! unfortuantly, i bought my kit from mbautosport and it needed a LOT of work, so that is why it cost alot more.
