Ok guys i just picked up some Kosei K1 Racing rims for practically nothing. The 15X7 with offset +38.

But the tires on it were so gone had to take them off. I need some replacements now. I want something that is going to have a pretty decent life span, that will allow me to grip when i want it to (whenever i go to the track, drag, or out street racing). Weather here in tucson is rather super hot or rain here and there so i need something that can at least be ok in wet weather.

The tire size that was on the rim was 205-50-15 which a tire shop said is perfect for a 15 inch and shouldnt go any lower. But would like opinions from everyone like what size i should get and whats a good tire out there that is also light weight too.

Have looked at the Kumho Extas AST i think, pretty cheap and have good ratings and lighter than the more performance kumho exta.

Thank you just need all the opinions from you experienced guys.

Pretty cheap, good grip for the buck and decent in the rain!last many miles, too!

As for the size you mention, looks ok.But why did you choose 15??

15s for less weight and faster acceleration. Plus ones i got are 13lbs so huge improvement over stock.

and looks like only one part of the USA sells them lol. how much were they for all 4?

Kumhos are pretty good dry, but i don't trust them in wet conditions...

But you're in AZ, so wet doesn't really matter too much =D

Summer max grip?

Get the Kumho XS's. These put the celebrated Falken Azeni's to shame in recent GRM tests.

Lighter and sticker than the Falken's. Cheap too.
