My Maf sensor same as Picture A...
Or should I follow the Picture B which is Maf sensor locate at middle of Intercooler and Thottle Body ??
I'm using Emanage Blue ~
If follow the Picture B... then I can put my CAI direct to Turbocharger with short distance :wiggle:
Hope can help ! Thanks !!!!!!!!!!

i believe you would want the MAF sensor closer to the throttle body. picture A would be way off.

Thanks for your picture :wiggle:
So the Bov after the map sensor ??
acually now my bov locate at middle of TB and intercooler....
So If I put my map sensor there , then where should I put the BOV ?
after the map sensor ??
which mean ...
TB-->Map sensor-->BOV-->Intercooler ??

So the Bov after the map sensor ??
It's a MAF(Mass air flow Sensor) not a map
;)

MAF close to the thottle body.
BOV location should be at a distance to MAF, right after the intercooler is good.

Just call my mechanic today...He keep DISAGREE that the MAF sensor shoun't put after turbo ... should put before turbo for avoid heat and pressure...
Anyone help ?! So I should change tuner or ???? :(

PM sent, but your tuner is wrong. we have been doing this for several years now, we know what works. put the MAF before the throttle body, and on my kits i mount the BOV on the intercooler. look at the pictures of my setup.

Yup, exactly as these guys have said, think about what the MAF is doing. It measures airflow to allow a correct mixture of fuel to be added via your ECU, right?! Now if that MAF is before the turbo then it will measure the uncompressed airflow and not what is making its way though to your throttle body. If you put the MAF before the BOV then the airflow calculations will be off because some of the measured airflow will have been vented by the BOV. So it should be (Turbo/super)charger, intercooler, BOV, MAF, throttle body. :D

Because I thought that people who is using standalone power fc , they can only put maf sensor after turbo.... So EMB can do that too ? Maybe my stupid tuner keep confusing me !! By the way..thanks guys !!

yeah your tuner doesnt know what he is talking about. you can use any piggyback the same way. i have never used an emanage so im not familiar with them. but the best way to run the turbo is have the MAF after the turbo, ill explain why.....
compressing air heats it up thats why we use intercoolers. if you have the MAF before the turbo, it will register the temperature of the cooler air and the computer will adjust the fuel parameters. with teh MAF after the turbo and after the intercooler, it will register a correct air temperature reading.
Now with all that said, the only reason i think your tuner is so dead set on before turbo is maybe he does not understand that the air temp sensor is also in the MAF, maybe he thinks its a seperate sensor in the intake manifold.
on both my All-Trac and Supra when i converted to speed density with the AEM EMS, i had to install a MAP sensor and a seperate Air temp sensor. i had to splice into the MAFS box to get the wires for the temp sensor and wire it in, and splice into the factory MAP sensor wires to install the aftermarket MAP sensor. Same thing with the wideband O2, it was spliced into the factory O2 wires. that way the AEM EMS got its reading from factory locations.

Thanks for your great info !! Smaay !! :wiggle:
So our stock ecu stock MAF have air temp sensor and ar flow sensor right??
Because I have check those member locate their MAF close to Throttle Body...they are using STANDALONE !!
Is there anyone here put their MAF close to TB by using piggyback not standalone ?? Hope can share out !!
And...Our MAF Is It hot wire ??
Thanks !!!

So far I thought BOV better stay 1 ft far from MAF or more than that ??
Better put BOV close to Intercooler which the picture posted by Smaay..

Most of us are using standalone unit, but I hear some people was able to get piggyback working right by only tuning WOT... If your tuner insist on MAF placement, I would not trust him to tune your piggyback right.

I would get BOV as far away from the MAF as possible, right next to intercooler would be best. Also remember to not mount the MAF at the bend area for accurate readings.

Why does the Da turbo kit have the mount for the bov directly after Turbo??..

What a stupid set-up any suggestions???

because its a stupid design DA kit. It will work like that but its not the best location for it.
