Anyone know anything about these head units? Or can you recommend one that is better for some reason?

That one looks cool, but I never really liked JVC head units since the early 90's. They're on the same level as Panasonic

I think that is a good headunit. I've had two JVC's before and never had any problems with it. Plus they give you good sound quality.

jvc isn't bad. a lot of them i don't like, but that line is pretty good. i've played with it a lot at work and its pretty good. i saw you were looking for one with mp3 and red, so that has some red, and i'd take it over the sony xplods. its bass boost is insane, i've never seen a head unit with such a huge bass boost on it. motorized tilt face is nice, and it has a nice aluminum not cheap looking face to it.
