key central lock not working :(

hey guys something strange has happened my remote lock from my key doesnt work, so basically i cannot lock the car from the key remotely, however i can open the car remotely so it cannot be the battery, do any of you have any idea what this could be?

I'm confused. Are you saying you can't lock the key with the remote, but you can unlock it? If so, I would still change the battery. I had this same issue with my Celica and changing the battery cleared it up.
