I just bought my car less than 2 months ago, and I got all the Zaino stuff. I got the toyota paint protection when I got my car and it still shines like crAzy. Was wondering if zaino is really gonna make that much of a difference plus it's on a new car, because I dont really wanna strip the paint protection if it won't make that much of a difference.

Many say that the Toyota paint protection is a bunch of bull for the $$ spent. It comes down to your eye vs. ours as to what really shines. If you want to use the Zaino, go ahead and use it. Unless you botch the process really bad there is no way that it'll look worse than just off the showroom floor. You'll also have the peace of mind that the job was done right.

Zainos will not hurt your car. The only thing it will do is make you smile from seeing that shiny Celica.

Zaino is the best, I would recommend it for anyone looking for a great show car quality wax.

We just got Zaino in yesterday and waxed the police car for a car show today...it looks great! The whole car including decals look really good. It gives a mirror image. Can't wait to wax the Celi and our SUV!! I definetly recommend it! Also, we used the accelerator. By the way...the Police car took Best of Show!!

I'm sure it won't hurt the car, but what I'm worried about is it asked me to use dishwashing soap. That might even strip my paint protection from toyota that has an warranty of 5 years? I'm just debating wether it's worth stripping it or not. So you guys think I should strip it?

So just skip the dish soap and do a real good job with the clay bar and washing before beginnin the Zaino.

Don'tuse dishsoap!!! This and maintaining your car will do nothing but make it look pristine all the time. So go for it!

BTW: The "clearcoat" that toyota puts on really sucks....I've worked w/ it on a 2000 Lexus GS400 and it was gone a little after a year. It's gonna be re-done instead with this new stuff....It's like a teflon seal which lasts for 7 years and it's pretty awesome. A place called Tech Formula does it down here. My neighbor had it put on his Corvette and it looks amazing. Maybe you should try that??

I also got suckered into getting the Toyota (WeatherGuard) paint sealant.
Looking at my paint sealant warranty, it doesn`t state any conditions including prohibiting you from waxing, etc.

About the paint sealant:
It doesn`t prevent damage to your paint. I still got a couple of paint chips from dried bugs. :( They just charge such an outragous price that they can afford to repaint the ocasional car and still make a profit from it.!

So, after having the car for about 4 months I decided to wax it with Meguiar`s gold Class and haven`t regretted it. :)
