Carbonfiber console

Making a full carbon console for a mr2. 85-86 and 87plus have ebrake on different sides. The console was converted to fit both. The hole not surrounding the ebrake will act as switch panel or change holder.

popped after 1st layer. Mmm look at all that wonderful primer. (I used alot to remove texture)

added alittle acetone. A few more washes and it will be good to go.

Only one layer? Did you use some milled fibers in those tight corners or was it only chop mat?

Yes one layer so you can pop the original part out. If it were 5-7 layers you would never get the part out bc the mold wouldnt flex enough. chop mat was used along with rope in the creases (its black).

It looked exactly like a stock one minus the window switches and added cup holders. It was designed and built that way for a reason....
