Price looks pretty cheap so I wouldn't mind buying it just to try it out. But then cheap price could mean cheap quality?

I've seen pictures of people's dash with carbon fiber looks to it, is that the same as this vinyl kit?

Dude! Dont use this for the dash! This kind of film adheres only to flat surfaces. It will unpeel from the slightest curves, it doesnt stretch and cannot be heated. I used the red kind on the outside flat parts only. Looks pretty sweet and shinny. Its unlike regular vinyl in that its got 3 layers instead of 1. The adhesive, the foil and the clear, so its impossible to wrap around stuff. Also tons of bubbles that you'll have to pop w a needle.
If you get the textured carbon fiber, only go for the 3m di-noc. That stuff kicks arse! Can be heated, strtched and conforms to anything. Did my hood w it and i love it.
Also, the one on amazon and black/grey/silver like it only look good in a roll or vertical. Flat and horizontal u can't see any texture, just a slimy film.
Regular non metalic colors will work best but i think they come out looking cheap.

You forgot to mention the most important part.
It's a vinyl. A STICKER.

Seriously, any self-respecting car fan/modder/what-have-you wouldn't take a second glance at this shet.

Oh. Yeah. I forgot. Thanks.
No stickers on the dash please! Get some SEM paint instead.
