First Ticket!

I received my first ticket and it was for a Fix it ticket..
Reason: My exhaust was too loud.

My question is that.. can i just pay the fine and leave the exhaust the way it is?

btw, i have a TRD Exhaust..

I'm pretty sure you can just pay the fine and leave the exhaust the way it is, however you'll probably just get pulled over again and get issued another fix it ticket with another fine. Loud exhausts become a pretty expensive modification in some states. lol Take the Kazuma for example, no matter where you are a cop will find you. lol

How do i know if my TRD Exhaust is Kazuma ? When i bought the car from the previous owner it already came with the TRD Exhaust.

If its really effing loud its a kazuma if its just loud at WOT then its a normal trd.

TRD is perfectly legal my trd came with a little certificate saying its legal if yours didn't search around there is a copy you can print out somewhere online here.

And if you don't know if it's a kazuma or not, then it's not. There's no way you can't know lol. Look under your car and see if it is free flowing. If it has a muffler of some sort, then it's just a regular ole' TRD.

Do you guys think if i show the local police department the TRD Certificate they will sign the ticket off?

the trd certificate specifically says their exhaust is legal in california, which would make it legal in every state

It's probably not the kazuma LOL. but trd and get a fix it ticket? that sucks... i have a trd and i don't think it's that loud. kazuma u can hear from like a mile away lol.
