how to adjust the treble on my new deck???

i had just recently purchased an alpine deck and was wondering on how i should set my treble. i like the set it to the max, but i dunno if its good for my speakers. someone told me that if i do that a lot, it would distort them. how do ya'll guys do it??? do ya'll put your treble to the max??? or do ya'll put it about 3/4?? thanks!!

Set it so that it sounds good to you. It's not going to damage your speakers. You'll only damage your speakers if you fry them with too much power or send them a clipped signal.

werd, dont listen to what anyone says when it comes to ajusting EQ.... set it to where it sounds good to you, if you dont hear distortion... youre ok.
