Having Horrible Problem with Engine Bay

Today i was cleaning my engine bay and i sprayed GREASE LIGHTNING on it.... instead of making it lighter.... it made my engine bay DARKER!!!! Ive tryed scrubbing it off, wiping...but it wont go away, it makes my engine look so dirty, I've tried over an hour in scrubbin and wiping but it wont do any good just keep getting my rags dirtier and dirtier...... Anyone have any solutions, i need help

Maybe try going over it with Simple Green. That stuff usually works wonders.

i tried simple green already, and it still wont come off... it leaves these marks that look horrible

Ask Blue Bomber...he uses Greased Lightning.

i kind of had that problem with cleaning my engine bay as well. its not the grease lighting, but when i cleaned my engine bay , my engine bay was already dirty, not thinking i sprayed some engine bright on the valve cover and started to wipe and all i saw was that i was moving the dirt around from one place to another. instead of making the engine clean i actually made it worse, so i tried for hours to remove the stains but it wont come off.

then the next week , i warmed up my car and drove it for 15mintues came home carefully sparyed the dirty area with warm water and sprayed a product called orange muscle, let it sit for 5 minutes and took a steel wool scrubber and went cleaned it and sprayed it off and it was pretty clean after that.

maybe you can try that.
