I was considering getting an Injen CAI for my 2000 gts mt. I dont really want to hack a hole in my wheel well. Are there any other brands that dont require hacking the well?

I believe all CAI require fabrication in the fender well. Short rams require none.

It takes no more than 2 minutes to cut a piece of the plastic out in order for the CAI to fit. It's really no big deal.
