Clutch Squeeking. Arrrgghhh!!! This car gives me more problem than my second Civic. It only squeeks when I press and depress the pedal. Seriously, the dealer did not do a good job on fixing my car the last time it was in there. They must have done something wrong.

Anybody's clutch squeeking? I heard it when the engine is on and not moving, but when I am moving, you can still hear it, but barely because of the wind noise. Anybody know how to resolve this.

Yeah I had the exact same thing happen on my 2k2 GT. It got progessivly worse, and the first time I complained about it they told me they'd have to wait for it to get worse, because they couldn't feel anything. I complaned again the second time and he agreed there was somethign wrong ( this was a different person ), he said they had fired the other guy. But it happens when you press and start to let off the pedal? Right after the clutch catches? This time the lubed up everything but it still didn't fix it, so they called Toyota Tech and they did something that helped with it, I don't kow about you but I could feel a difference too not just hear it creeking. Time and them lubing should help consideribly.

I had the same problem and took it in twice to have fixed, first time they said they fixed it by lubing something...i get in the car to drive it home from the dealership...push in the clutch and hear...squeeeeeeeeeeek!!! so i whip around and bitch them out. then they take a better look at it (so they say) and they say that my clutch fork was almost dry and they lubed it. My clutch was nice and silent for 2 weeks now (to date) and the clutch response even feels better...but yesterday like a son-uv-a-bitch the clutch starts squeeking again.

I'm thinking long and hard about ever buying a Toyota again. And their service SUCKS!
