What's the width of the rim?

We can't tell you what type of spacers you need even if you give us the offset. We also need to know the rim size and width to be able to give you a estimate.

Anything over 25mm, and under 35mm would look fine imo.

On another note where is a good place to buy these from? Also what Brand do you recommend?
Thanks

You could get some generic no name ones from eBay, but I am in NO way endorsing that.
I've heard lots of good things about H&R, I'd go with them. But that's just me.

around 1.25" or 30mm sounds about right.
I agree, H&R and Ichiba are the ones to get. Or the no names from eBay for half the price.

I was thinking eibach or H&R, because you get what you pay for and wheels is not a place you want to go short on. But dont know where to buy them online, do any of NewCelica's Sponsors carry them? I have looked but with no luck

I forgot to mention the front wheels need slightly shorter spacers.
I haven't really done much searching around, I got my Ichiba's from fleaBay :)

would 20mm in the front and 25mm in the back be a good combo?

I have the same wheels size 17-7 off set 40, I want to put the same ichiba 25mm in back and just keep stock in front.

Yes, that'll work. Or if you go 30mm rear, use 25mm front..etc., to make it look more uniform.

Who makes 30mm? I couldnt find any from H&R or Ichiba

I could have sworn ichiba made 30mm spacers.. but if you can't find them, 25 rear 20 front would do you just fine.

For a 17x7 wheel you need to have an effective offset of 5 in the front and -15 in the rear.
Do you have negative camber in the rear colours? If not negative 10 to negative 5 offset will be fine in the rear.
I remember you're pretty low in the rear and you would need to get your fenders rolled.
I recommend a 35mm front spacer and a 50mm rear spacer for flush lip to fender.
Im actually running an ebay 38mm(1.5") spacer in the rear and i havent had a problem with it. Just make sure the spacer is hubcentric and torqued down correctly.

Right now I have a negative camber. But im going to raise the back end of the car because Since I got the allignment its not sitting correct so going to do some readjustments before I get the new rubber. Plus the roads here in Winnipeg are complete garbage, think of your worst road and then think 10 times worse and thats are normal roads lol.
Thanks for all the help guys, its much appreciated.

Also notice that the 225s are so meaty on a 7 that it tire is wider than the wheel and that his setup is flush by tire.

Of course it's meaty, that's the way i like my tires. Even 205/45 or 205/50 will still poke out.
If you have no tires get a bigger spacer :fawk:

i have 17x7 42 offset with 215/40 on the car. would 25mm bring them out to where ill need to roll my fenders? the car is only lowered the 1.3 rear and 1.5 front or something like that.

No you wouldnt need to roll your fenders unless you 3 wheel your car going up ramps.

Why run spacers at all? You don't need them running that wheel size unless you just want them, but I think that they look just fine with that size without them. Its not that big of a difference...

I agree looks much better having the wheels pushed out that 25mm

Here are my 17x7 +42 with 25mm adapters, to give you an idea what they'll look like.
tires are 225/45/17
It would look A LOT better if it were dropped more than 1.4" like I have though. I personally think they stick out a little much without the dropping it more. I would have gone with 20mm spacers in the front, but I didn't feel like cutting 5mm off the stock bolts to make wheel adapters flat against the surface.
As you can see in the rear, they are a little more in with only 25mm adapters as well.
30-35mm would be more ideal (with my current personal setup).
