weird engine connectors..

ok, i bought my 2000 GT-S celly used... when i had bought it... it had a CAI installed on it...so i took it off and switched it with a blitz sus short ram... and when i did i noticed as you can see the 2 pictures below .... the two things taht are circled... anyopne ahve any idea what these connect to... if you look closely on one of the pic... it has a little screw plugged into it.. the other one had a tube connected to the old CAI that was on it before i swapped it out.. but now its just there... do i connect something to it... anyone here know what connects to either one of these things? http://i39.tinypic.com/j0w3sh.jpg

They both connect to the stock air box. They are just vents. Not going to hurt anything they way they are now.

can i connect a random tube.. from one end to the other? like just connect them both together?

No the one on the manifold needs to be capped off and the other one doesnt matter. Its just a vent for the gas tank. If you route it it needs to be routed to the air filter tube before the TB
