Ok, I've got 18" rims and Veilside body kit and I finally bought some coilovers but someone told me that I wouldn't be able to drive with it dropped more than 2 inches. Is this true?

I think with the Veilside kit, you wouldn't want to drive with the car dropped more than 2" no matter what size rims you have. Speaking strictly about just the rims and drop, as long as your offset is conservative I see no problem with dropping it a little lower. I've seen some slammed rides on this board, one even with 19's. I've yet to hear of more than one person complaining about fender rubbing being a problem.

My Honda was very fickle about what I could stuff under the fenders and how low I could go doing it. The fenders on the Celica seem to swallow rims whole.

I rub my rear fenders when people are in my car or if I hit a bump during cornering. I probably have more than a 2" drop with my gc coilovers...rims are 18x7.5 with a 35 offset...tires are 215/40/18. If I had some negative camber, it would probably clear, but I set it as close to 0 as possible (with the Hotchkis camber kit) because I wanted the tires to last.

But the beauty of having a coilover set up is that you can adjust the height. So if it rubs and you don't want to roll the fenders, just raise it up a little.
