Anyone know of a head unit that has black plastic and is mainly lit up red? Preferably a nicer one too, and MP3 playability would be nice..

yeah ditto. sony. not the best, but not bad really. i mean, if you just want an average head unit, sony is fine. if you want good good stuff then no.

Just buy what you mant and change the LED's to the color you want.

I went to crutchfield, put in celica gts, picked all mp3 players, and then I compared all. Then I removed all silver ones. Those are all teh black ones. Prices range quite a bit.

Aiwa CDC-mp3, and JVC KD-SX980, and also Alpine CDA-7894 are the cheapest (up to 400). You could get it elsewhere cheaper.

NOne of them are really red though.
