Dont wax for at least 90 days. You run the risk of damaging the finish. Just wash it good and live with it for a few more weeks, then try to rub it out. WW sideskirts are urethane if i remember, so if i were you i would let those lazy people know their role. I dont tolerate lazy people in my car. Everyone who rides with me knows the rules. Dont drag your feet. Dont throw back the seat belts, and DONT under any circumstances, TOUCH MY PAINT!!
But if i were you, live with it for a while and then rub it out.

Jay- You must have started a new topic instead of replying to the old one. BTW, the velcro disk attachment is in the mail for the Porter Cable, can't wait to try it out.
