So I've been going for discount tire ever since.
But I think there should be some other options out there.
The places that you guys go for, do they also offer Tire Hazard program?
Also, do you know if we can just buy the tires from eBay and get the Tire Hazard program at the places that mount your tires?
I'm open for suggestions.
I'm running Nitto Zen 225/45/17 right now and planning to go for either Kumho, Falken, or anything that's around 360 AA - 420 AA. Price matters!

I looked around for a small independent place with good prices and friendly staff.
I did more research on the tires I was purchasing rather than the place I purchased them.
Idk what Tire Hazard is.
Btw, I have Falken Ziex-912's and my second choice was General Exclaim UHPs or Kumhos ASX. Don't know much about Nitto's.

I'm employed by Discount Tire here in TN. To tell you the truth, we pretty much are the best out there. I'm not bragging for our company, but to tell you the truth we have the best prices on wheels and tires, let alone we will beat any competitors price and give you lifetime flat repairs, tire replacement and rotations/rebalances lifetime for free with your purchase. I'd say stick with us, the trusted experts. We have so many people come from places like Walmart complaining about how bad their new tires are. So we fix it for them. If you want the best service, and the best quality. Come to us, we'll gladly take care of you.

To Levi - yup, I'm one loyal customer to your company. I've gone to Discount Tire for all my family's cars for many times. When I was out of town and one of my tires went out, I was so glad DT was around for a free replacement.
However, recently, when I was doing a research for new tires set and I found a few better deals at different websites including Tire Rack. I sent in a few Low Price Notice to DT, in hope of a match quote or so but... they did not send me an email or call me within 1 business day like they said they would. What worst was during my search on DT website today and the low prices and the tires I wanted a week ago are gone. In fact, none of the tires that I saw for 80s and 90s are there anymore. I'm still struggling to find a full time job and my tires are getting bald. So I can't just buy without thinking/calculating. =(
So I'm just trying to see if there are any other shops out there that could match with DT, or that I may use those shops' tire quote to ask DT to price match. =/

I 've learned that the cheapest place is not always the best.
What good is rock bottom price if they do a quick and dirty job with balancing?
Also, you want a shop that will treat your wheels with respect and not all do.
So, ask around in you area to see who the local enthusiest recomend.
Peersonally, I found a privately owned repair shop shop in my area that also specialzes as an (almost) all brand tire dealer.
They not only give me a fair price on a tire but it also includes mounting, balancing, NYS state disposal fees, etc. They aslo treat you wheels with respect and are finatical about balancing.
So, ask around. :)

I usually go to Firestone, simply because their prices are very competive, and they usually have some kind if sale (usually it's buy 3 get one free).
They also have lifetime balance and rotation as well as hazard warranty, at a decent price.
PLUS they are close to my home (5 minutes) can t tell you how much the convenience factor realy is worth. Many times I've stopped by on the way home from work for a quick rotation or balance.
My local Firestone has pretty cool guys working there, knowledgable, honest and willing to let me hang out in the car bay to watch them and ask questions while my car is "on the rack". :wiggle:

thanks, I did see quite a few tire/wheel shops around and your comments and feedbacks do help me out.
And yup, I will keep in mind of how the shops take care of the wheels.

You'd have better results if you came into the store and talked with one of our representative salesmen.

I stick to TireRack.com/ Discount Tire.
The problem with "Tire rack" is, in addition to shipping, you stiil have to pary a premium price to have them mounted and balanced, etc unlees you have connections and can have them mounted and balanced cheaply.
My experince with any type of "discount tire" place is, the they all tend to be assembly line operations and their young employees seem to throw things around like berserk robots trying to get a job done as quick as possible.

Very descriptive. But at my Discount Tire at least, you can watch them from the giant window to make sure they don't go all "Berserk Robot" on your ass. :D And if they do, you can promptly walk out there and club em' with a maglight or something.:gap:

We treat all of our customer's tires and wheels like they are our own. If an employee is seen purposely messing up a customer's wheel or not being careful, they can be terminated on the spot.

Also, if we damage your wheel or tire, we replace it for free.
