this is what i get for rushing.. need help

hello all,

i did my gas/temp & needle to blue conversion no problem

the only thing that got me was i ran out of leds last time so tonite i kinda rushed through everything, everything works

except the little see through halogram piece that goes where the gas/temp is


you have the gas/temp panel...

a think flimsy piece of plastic/hologram type piece.. and the plastic cover that goes on top of it

the plastic/halogram piece i somehow must have gotten fingerprints on cauz the bottom part of my led panel is all dim/not sharp

all my blue leds are lite

so i know i was prolly just rushing and must have touched it by accident

my question is 2 fold

CAN that piece be cleaned... albiet a cloth or some cleaner? i didnt want to try and have the whole thing messed up

2) is there any way i can just buy that piece from david draper or what not?

for better understanding the piece im talking about is like a transparency sheet but if u look at it iin the light everything is distorted

Just clean it with electronic component cleaner....
Use none abrasive wipe.... make no dust are there when you put it back togeter.....
