fuel injector question?

I was taking a good look at the injectors that were provide with my DA 1zz turbo kit and realized they are not appropriate or are they??

They are toyota oem injectors but have an odd part number 23209-22130.

From what I have researched I have found that these were released in late 04 for the GTS and have a 330cc instead of the 310cc..

I could maybe see these running 5si but probably nothing more???

Is it possible that these could have been modified to increase their flowrates?

I will post a pic tmmrw. They are black injectors with a blue paint dot.

those look like the stock yello injectors to me. do you have a wideband O2 sensor? if your A/F ratios are good. then dont change anything.

Those arent the injectors I have, I have the black ones 23209-22130 as stated in first post just thought that would be a good replacement.

Are you saying those could work smaay??? I want to run about 8psi of boost if thats going to be possible with a 2.5 inch intake and k-04....crappy DA kit. We will see what kind of boost I can push, I am just trying to save myself the grief of even installing them in if they are no good which I am pretty sure they are not.

Celicasaurus will probably be getting some money since I cant see these working unless I am running minimal boost.

After taking a closer look at these injectors I am wrong they are actually navy blue??

I am finding this odd since everyone seems to have the brown or yellow injectors for the 2zz's...yet this has the same part # ??? Note: part # 23209-22130 on the package is not the same as part # on injector which is 23250-22130 ( the updated part #) ...toyota just never updated the sticker I guess

After a little more research I have found that the Gt with a Da sports kit (from the minimal information out there .. besides people pissed with DDraper ) is capable of about 220 whp @ approx 10psi. That being said none of them were running on Gts injectors? And also the audi TT and S4 use this turbo as well as the seat cupra all of which have 390 cc plus injectors.



More than anything I just want to know the story on these injectors?? Why are they different than everyone else's for future reference because they will be going up for sale and I am sure the buyers will be asking the same question's I am.

1 more question also... Should I get my new injectors flow tested?? I purchased a set of Denso 440 cc on lotustalk for 200$$ It was a very good deal since they supposedly have only 5000 miles on them and are like new..pics looked good.

My thoughts were that I wont be using the 440 cc's to their full potential anyways I shouldn't worry about it??

These are the injectors navy blue?? Part # 23250 on injector...disregard the part # on packaging old part # for yellows I thought??

judging by experience when you start answering your questions like you are people really don't want to help you out.

You want somebody to guess what size your injectors are...here is a novel idea take it to a shop that inspects and flow tests injectors and get them to check them out. They will tell you the lag time at PSI and what they flow. Then when you get that done come back here and report.
