View Full Version : opinions on rims...
Alright, I can't find some rims that I like, however I like the rims I have now. HAHA that made not a lot of sense however I wanted something similar to what I have but with umm them being probably hyper black or something dark with a polished lip. Well i'm thinking of just having them powder coated and the lips repolished and clearcoated... Price would not be a big concern. Here are some quick photo chops i did... (very poor :) )
yay! or nay! haha I don't really care though so you don't have to answer... I will even take brutal flames towards myself :) haha

Dude, that looks good to me!!!
You know, gunmetal looks dope, but you could also try and chop some other colors.... ie. red w/polished lip, gold w/polished lip, or maybe even black w/polished lip....
IMO I think that any of the above colors will look dope! yep even the red but it has to be the EXACT same "absolutly red" as the car or it'll look fugly.
I got a spectra blue GTS and I'm doin 18" 57pro's gold w/polished lip. Jus sick and tired of seein gunmetal, silver, and Racing harts. everyone and their moms got that flava. Be different, be a trend setter not a trend follower!
If you want that "Japan- look", go with the colors.
Anyway, Just tryin to broaden your horizons, and yes the gunmetal would look good if you decide to go that route.....peace

I think bronze would look better on a blue car. Black definitely goes with the red though.
i'm probalby doing black... the first one is kind of a gunmetalish but the last pic i put up is more black

Black is probably the way to go. It really complements your CF hood.

now to find a place that does the powdercoating :) hehe I think there is a local place that I heard of that does but if not anyone know a website that specializes in it? I thought it was like 50/rim for just one color?
