I live...and WTF? I posted that message like a month ago..lol...musta pissed someone off..heh.
I've been doing alot more to my Celica now, I just don't post as much, but I do read everyday. Not enough time...blah.
I completly removed my rear seats early last week, and have carpeted the entire back end.
The WRX has been pretty much just used for transportation. Only mod I've done to it is a Turd Timer. :D Once I'm done with my Celica, I'll probably start on the WRX again.
I got all hyped up on the thing when I first got it...but after driving it for about a month, I realized I missed my Celica. ALOT.
So I let the wife have the WRX (she was having fun in the Celi, too) and have been playing with my Celica ever since.
Can you believe that? LOL. :AF:
Sooner or later, the WRX will be a badass..but it's been put on the back burner for now. I'm gonna do the suspension before I even touch the engine bay, cuz I just don't like the way it handles. Blah.

Let them think that.... the look on their face will be that much more funny when one of us schools them.

Yeah, some of those guys are close minded. such a shame, but I guess every car forum has its share, just some more than others.

interesting. oh well. I have much respect for the WRX... so I'm not gunna say anything... ok maybe something
If they can't respect this I dunno what they can respect.
The evo 7 owned the project WRX in SCC's test on that road course.
The Hotchkis Celica owned the Evo 7 on the very same road course, with the very same drivers.......
I'm not saying any more. both cars are great... and have their strong points.

the celica review was in the latest month's SCC (has the yellow skyline on the cover). lancer vs. wrx was about a month back (has a blue STi on the front). and i won't even go into wrx's either, they are amazing cars. i have a friend that will probably be in the 12's soon and can also usually place very well at auto-x events. so no bad mouthing them from me (especially since i'm probably getting one soon).

WTF? where have you been ;)
Ok, here's the article. http://www.everythingcelica.com/gal2/view_album.php?set_albumName=media_scc
the previous months SCC has the Project WRX vs. the Evo 7
yeah, i saw that one already... but not the wrx vs evo 7. what type of mods did they do to the evo7 and the project wrx?

the evo 7 (it was a euro spec one which is probably better than what we'll get here) was stock (276hp, 282 ft/lbs). the wrx had vishnu stage 0 (up-pipe, underdrive pulley, piggyback ECU), manual boost controller, exhaust, upgrade brakes, and 17x7.5 rotas. dyno'd 218hp and 201 ft/lbs. and unfortunately, the evo did take it by a little on pretty much every test (i'm still partial to the wrx though :) ).
did they have suspension done to the evo7 and wrx?

not to the evo (although it comes fairly well equipped stock) and the WRX just had a progress rear anti-roll bar.
