i recently installled a kandn air filter in my car and i let the car idle for 5-10 min like your supposed to and when i drive it and start going to 3-6 gears it overrevvs a lot. I don't konw if its something with the engine adjusting but it is very weird. Could somebody help me out with this?? thanks

I was thinking of taking the kandn out and putting the stock filter in and going to the toyota dealership and having them check it out cause i still have my warranty what do you peeps think??

Thanks for the help!

Sounds kind of like your clutch may be starting to head south...

Adjust your driving style, your right foot sounds like it's getting too excited. Changing the air filter shouldn't make the engine over-rev.

You don't need to remove the drop-in K&N filter to take the car to the dealer, even for warantee work.
