well it cost me about 150 to get the front and one side painted.. including some minor repairs.. so just double that.. i guess about 300 would be aright.. it was a decent looking paint job

Expect 500-600 for a decent paint job. $300 is rare, not sure on how good the job is.

Damn - I usually pay at least $1,000 for a good paint job on a kit - not installed. Installation usually runs another $3-400. And this is through a friend so I get "hooked up".

Well, my body shop does it that I usually just take my car to if I get into a wreck. They aren't used to doing aftermarket work like this, so I don't think they know how much most people charge. The guy kind of does it for me as a favor. He does EXCELLENT work at VERY reasonable prices. I had my sister's WW Bullet Wing for her 3G done through him, and he only charged me $85 to do it! He did a GREAT job! I paid $200 to get my carcept spoiler painted at another body shop. So i'm sure I can get it done for $300-$400 easily.

Is there such thing as a paint job as good as stock? The stock bumpers can take some abuse. I think bodypros only painted my kit with 1 coat of paint because the edges chip and you can see the black urethane. And the paint match isnt 100% on. (I had bodypros prep and paint my kit a 2nd time and its still off a bit) They said its almost impossible to get a perfect match. From all my experiences with this kit, i have to say aftermarket bodykits suck. From now on, I will only get a bodykit from the factory (ex. TRD) The kaminari kit doesnt even use half of the bolts/screws that the stock bumper uses. (not to mention the fact that bodypros broke a few secure mounting pieces off of my rear bumper that should have made my rear bumper more secure.) Did I forget to mention that Bodypros has bad service and does a crap job on kits?

I also heard that you can cut costs by doing some of the work yourself. Such as removing the stock front bumper, side skirts, and rear bumper yourself. I did that with my stock wing as well. It will save you some labor costs...

When I put my kam kit on it cost me around 1500. I also stripped the car down to nothing including taking the windows out of the sides to get the whole intire car painted and also had all the dents and dings removed, because the factory paint is CRAP. Most shops if you do not know them will charge around 400-500 for kits. The reason my paint job was so high was that I had them paint everything off of the car including mirrors and so on and I tied up both of there paint booths. Plus I had them get me the best clear they could that would help to not get so many rock chips. I have to tell you after spending the money and all 80 some hours working on it. It was worth it. It would be cheaper to put it on and test fit everything yourself. Just take your time trying to find a body shop and do not rush it.

Well I think West Coast is little bit cheaper to get it done.
Mark,
You should have went to wetworks man. They charge like $600 painted/installed and I heard they do real good jobs!
Once I get my WW kit, I am gonna take it over to either WetWorks or this place JDM-STYLE knows. I am expected to pay up like $300-$400 for paint/install.
Twincelicagirl: I'd say for East Coast, $700 is about the right price you pay for paint/install and it is halfway decent.
i paid 600, done by wetworks garage.
