So I was taking my girlfriend to her practice and she was telling me to speed cause she was running late, I told her she was paying the ticket if I got pulled over lmao. We were on the back roads where cops never sat on. Well my luck ran out. I went around a bend and floored it. I decided to check my rvm and guess what I saw. Clocked me going 66 on a 40, haha, first ticket. charged me $160. not sure what to do. pay it or go to court.

Well some friends of mine were telling me to go to court and plead forgiveness and ladeeda and if the judge is nice, he could waive it. since its my first ticket. or i could ask for a PBJ and get my fine cut.

I don't know the laws where you live, but here in MS your first ticket you can go to defensive driving, but if you pay it you wave that right. Might wanna check and see if that is an option since it is your first ticket. $140 isn't bad though, I've had some that were way worse for doing alot less lol.

Yea I forgot about the defensive driving class. that sounds like a good option

26 over.. In texas, if you go over 24, you can't take defensive driving and you get a ton of points added to your license. It's in the same class as.. I think drag racing here.
Can get your car impounded, license suspended, and go to jail. Some cops are nice though and say you were going 23 when you were going way over. Guess you're not so lucky
