Ok gusy i left 2 messages about the problems im having with maroone toyota not fixing my car and here is a small update
the oil pump failed like a few weeks ago and toyota did a lower end rebuild. i got it back and a week later went through a big ass pudle which caused my engine to die.

PUSHED the car out of the puddle and not trty to restart it.
Changed the oil and water came out...let me completely drain.
Took out the pulgs and cracked it.
Changed plugs
let sit for 10hrs
put back together and it started perfectly.

a week after that the engie dies on I95 going about 75-70 in which it sounded like i blew something major and the engie seized. sounded like so,ething flew off and was flying around in the engine and then that was that

I forgot to tell u that before both problems happened there was NO oil in the engine and each time i filled it up again.

i took it back to toyota and they say water casued it and wont fix it. it was over 2 week ago i drove threw that puddle and i was drving it for a week before the engine gave me a problem. then i had it towed to toyota where it sat there for another week ebfore they looked at it and told me they found water in the intake?..er..no...i asked them to tell me exactly what was wrong and they said they would have to take the oil pan off..etc...etc and would cost 490$ just to look at it and would not be covered under warranty. I called a few shops and by just telling them what happened they said its toyotas fault but now i think i have to go through my insurance and do it as a FLOOD. but when they take the engie apart im 100% they will find out that it was not water that caused it. WHAT SHOULD I DO

go to another dealer. stop giving them ways to blame it on you. tell them all about what the dealer did and how they screwed it up, and that you want it fixed. don't talk about puddles and things that they can blame on you if you can help it. call toyota's national number or something. its obviously caused by people not knowing what the hell they're doing. how can they assume what the problem is and say its not covered under warranty? they'd have to prove something like that. they're only assuming based on what you tell them. if you tell them as little as possible they have to look at it. but i'd be worried about them talking to the first dealer.

They are looking for reasons not to fix it and water is just a simple easy way. I went through water but that didn't cause the problem. toyota popped the hood and saw the intake..took it off and i donno how they found water if it has been sitting there for a week in the florida sun and the fact that i was over 2 week ago i had that water problem. i was not giving them reasons to blame me but trying to find a solution to their attemps to not fix it. the car ddin't hydro lock it seized. Either way now im going to prolly have it towed somewhere and have em look at it which will cost 200$ for them to tell me to take it back to toyota. I got on the line with their corporate office and they said they will call me back. headquarted is pretty far but i was looking into having it towed to another dealership. how is hollywood toyota?

you cant just get a j spec engine. second of all go to hollywood toyota. talk to an old gent named Don. hes on the right side next to the service manager who is a woman. he will take care of you. just be nice to him, ask him stuff about his life when he complains about it, or work (which he will) and you are in. i think i am the only perosn on this board whos good at this for some reason.

Seems like the last time you posted your pity story you ommitted the information concerning the water?? Sounds like you trashed the engine and should bear the cost of repair.
